Step-by-Step Process


Getting Started

1. Contact Circana and Skupos

  • Circana is the company Reynolds partners with to process their scan data files.

  • Email Circana and Skupos at [email protected] and [email protected] to inform them that you will be switching scan data providers.

    • We suggest cc’ing your Reynolds representative on this email as well.

Subject: Scan Data Third Party Switch

Hello-

I am switching to Skupos, a PDI Technologies company for my scan data. Please advise on any next steps required. Thanks!

  • If Skupos and Circana email you and don’t hear back, your process will be on hold until you respond.


Submitting Test Files

2. Skupos will receive a “Switching Software Providers” email from Circana:

  • Once Skupos has received this email, we will submit a test file on your behalf to Circana. We need to send a full week of complete data.

  • Circana will reach out if there are any issues with your test file. Your store will stay in testing status until you are validated.

  • If you find that the test file is processed with errors, you will need to forward that error code to [email protected].

    • Through that email address, Skupos Support will help you solve any challenges that come up.

      • It is important to stay connected to Skupos Sync software in order for us to submit a complete file. Click here for tips!


Approval (Validation)

3. Once Circana approves your test file, they will send notice of validated status communication.

  • This email means that you are validated in the RJR RMSC Scan Data program.

  • Skupos will not be copied on this email so you will need to forward it to [email protected] for us to update our records.

    • If you do not forward this email, you will not see new offers in your Skupos dashboard.

How long does switching my scan data process typically take?

  • Three weeks!

  • But if you don't respond to an email this process can be slowed down.

  • Circana is a data company that Reynolds partners with to process their scan data files.

How can I speed up this process?

  • Check your email a few times a week.

  • If you haven’t responded to a question the process is on hold until you give your feedback.

Why do we have to reach out to Reynolds with enrollment and discount questions?

  • Reynolds owns this process.

  • If they do not complete certain steps on their end, you run the risk of lost reimbursement.
