Step-by-Step Process

Getting Started

  1. Contact MSA and Skupos

    • MSA is the company Reynolds partners with to process their scan data files.

    • Email MSA and Skupos at [email protected] and [email protected] to inform them that you will be switching scan data providers.

      • We suggest cc’ing your Reynolds representative on this email as well.

Subject: Scan Data Third Party Switch

Hello-

I am switching to Skupos, a PDI Technologies company for my scan data. Please advise on any next steps required. Thanks!

💡 Tip! Make sure to frequently check your email

  • If Skupos and MSA email you and don’t hear back, your process will be on hold until you respond.

Submitting Test Files

2. Skupos will receive a “Switching Software Providers” email from MSA:

  • This will provide Skupos with your new submission credentials and prompt us to submit a test file on your behalf.

  • We need to send a full week of complete data.

    • It is important to stay connected to Skupos Sync software in order for us to submit a complete file.

3. Check the MSA portal

  • Check the MSA portal to see if your test file processed successfully.

    • If you are alerted of any errors, please forward those to [email protected] so we can fix them.

      • Through that email address, Skupos Support will help you solve any challenges that come up.

💡 Tip! Make sure to check your Skupos dashboard weekly to ensure you are connected.

Approval (Validation)

4. Keep checking your email. You will receive an email indicating your test file processed successfully.

  • At this point, you will want to confirm your validation status with your RJR representative.

  • If validated, you can now offer multi-unit and loyalty discounts through Skupos, if eligible (retailers with Clover devices excluded).

    • Please confirm offer eligibility with your RJR representative
