Why would I receive this error?

  • Your store is offering loyalty promotions on the specified product, but your store has not elected to offer those promotions with Altria.

  • Contact Skupos or your third-party loyalty provider to disable relevant loyalty offers.

  • Contact Altria to get your store(s) elected into the correct offers. – You won't receive reimbursement until this issue is resolved.

How do I fix this?  

  1. Disable the relevant loyalty discounts

    • Unfortunately, you are offering discounts you have not elected to offer with Altria.

    • To prevent further payment loss, we advise that you disable the discounts.  

      • If you use Skupos Engage as your loyalty provider, contact Skupos Support to disable offers. 

      • If you use a third-party loyalty provider other than Skupos Engage (such as Comarch, Excentus, Paytronix, Kickback, etc.), contact your third-party provider to disable the offers.

2. Contact Altria to elect into the relevant loyalty promotions

Asking as I received an email with the error message, “[Product] Loyalty Promotion Code - No [Product] Loyalty Election” and I am working to get it resolved asap.

💡Tip! If you want to offer these discounts you will still need to turn these off temporarily, as it will take 24+ hours to properly go live with these discounts.

3. Once Altria approves of your store(s) participating in these promotions, you may resume offering them for proper reimbursement

  • Altria sends an email each week where a file has error(s). 

  • See affected week-ending dates listed under “Issue Log”

How do I know the impacted store? 

  • You will see the impacted account name(s) and account number(s) listed under “Issue Log”  

Why did this happen to my file?  

  • The retailer is offering loyalty discounts on the specified product but have not elected to offer those promotions with Altria.

How can I prevent this error in the future?

  • Confirm with your Altria representative which offers are available for each of your stores during each period.

  • Keep in mind that if you have multiple stores, Altria may approve different offers for each location.

How else can I find the error?

  • Each email from Altria will include a keyword indicating the product experiencing the error.

    • Log into Insights C3M

    • Select Scan File Manager

    • Select Submitted File Status (View Submitted Files)

    • Click on the Processing Errors icon for the week in question
