Your Scan Data Is On The Move

What's Happening?

With the recent acquisition of Skupos by PDI Technologies, we're streamlining our solutions and services. As part of this effort, PDI CStore Essentials Scan Data is transitioning to the Skupos platform. Your back-office functionality will remain with CStore Essentials.

We're thrilled about the advanced reporting capabilities this shift will unlock for you! However, to ensure seamless receipt of funds (or monthly payments) from Altria and Reynolds American Inc. (RAI), a few simple updates to your system are required.

What does this mean for you?

  • If you are impacted by this transition, you will have received an email with instructions on next steps, which include:

    • Book a Skupos installation (if required)

    • If submitting Altria scan data through CStore Essentials, email [email protected] to initiate your submitter switch.

    • If submitting RAI scan data via CStore Essentials, email [email protected] and [email protected] to initiate your submitter switch.

    • Always ensure you stay connected to our sync software to avoid missed payments. Click here for connection tips.

  • If you cannot find the email, but think you should have one, reach out to Skupos support via chat at help.skupos.com (click the chat icon in the bottom, left corner).

Frequently Asked Questions:

  • Are my stores eligible?

    • Although many stores are eligible for this change, sites with Citgo, Exxon, Sunoco, and Shell sites aren't eligible (yet!).

    • Don’t worry, we will proactively message notify stores (through emails & banner messages within the CSE platform) when they’re eligible.

  • I received a text message from (844) - 922 - 3351, is that number affiliated with Skupos?

    • Yes! This is the shortcode we can use to give retailers updates.

  • Can I send questions to your team, through text messages?

    • No, we don’t currently have access to those questions or comments.

  • How do I change Scan providers?

    • Click here for detailed instructions as to how to switch your scan provider.

  • What happens if I don’t complete my steps?

    • If you do not complete the steps outlined in the email by the deadline, you will begin to lose your ability to get your monthly payments from tobacco brands.

  • What if I do not know when I will be available to participate in a (1) hour call?

    • Do not worry! You can book through the link in your email, up to the day of your appointment.

    • Can't find a link? Write in to our customer care team and they can help you set up a meeting.
