Enrolling, Reimbursement, and Signage for Brand Funded Promotions

Understanding Brand Funded Promotions is important for successfully offering discounts to your customers.

How to Enroll

Step 1: Navigate and log in to your Skupos dashboard.

  • Forgot your password? Learn how to reset it here.

Step 2: On the top menu, select “Programs.”

  • Select "Manage," then you may see promotions listed under "Active," "Upcoming," and "Completed."

  • By clicking on a specific promotion, you will be able to view details about the promotion discounts, the promotion dates, and other key information.

  • Please note that promotions under "Completed" disappear from the dashboard two weeks after the program has ended.

Enrollment into these promotions will only be available for a specific period of time, which will be outlined on the enrollment details and in an email that you will receive about the promotion once enrolled. When the enrollment period ends, you will receive additional information on display signage so your customers know about the discount they will receive at point of purchase.

This article will walk you through how to enroll.


What is a Brand Promotion?

If eligible, you will have two options for enrolling in exclusive, 100% brand-funded discount promotions.

1) When you are eligible for a specific 100% brand-funded program, the promotion will display in your "Programs" dashboard. Simply select the promotion, click the “Enroll Stores” button, and select eligible stores to enroll.

2) If you have already taken part in a 100% brand-funded promotion in the past, you will be auto-enrolled in all future 100% brand-funded promotions that Skupos offers with any brand. If you have stores that are already auto-enrolled in a promotion, the store status will either be “Enrollment Processing” or “Awaiting Program Start."

Being auto-opted into a program does not mean that you have to take part in the promotion. You can always opt-out of a 100% brand-funded promotion during the enrollment period.


What if I Am Not Eligible?

“Interested? Enroll now to participate in future promotions?”

When you are not eligible for a current program, and have never enrolled you are able to enroll in future brand-funded promotions offered through Skupos Engage. After you enroll, when we launch a promotion for which you are eligible, we will auto-enroll you in this promotion and will send you an email. You will then be able to opt-out of any promotions during the enrollment period if you decide the promotion is not for you.

By enrolling stores in either of the above enrollment flows, you are acknowledging that Skupos will be able to auto-enroll selected stores into future 100% brand-funded promotions in which your store is eligible.

How Do I Opt Out?

Step 1: Log in to your Skupos Dashboard.

Step 2: Select "Programs" from the top menu.

Step 3: Select "Manage" then click on the promotion you'd like to edit.

Step 4: Click the "Edit Stores" button.

How Do I Choose a Date?

Start and end dates for these promotional periods are pre-set; you are not able to select dates when you want to start and end the promotion.

Enrollment will end 4 weeks before the start of the promotion. In the 4 weeks leading up to the promotion, you will receive signage to display in your stores that will inform your customers of the discount that they could receive.

If you would like to end a promotion early, you may do so by calling Skupos Support at 1-800-559-1358.


How Do I Get Reimbursed?

Step 1: Go to the Skupos dashboard at go.skupos.com and login

Step 2: From there, go to the top navigation bar and you will see your current balance listed.

By clicking on your current balance, you will see a pop-up that shows three numbers:

  1. Last Withdrawal: amount of funds last withdrawn from the account

  2. Available Funds: amount you can transfer today

  3. Pending: the funds of discounts that you have not been reimbursed for yet

  4. Total Balance: Available funds + Pending

Please note that withdrawal can only happen one time per month and you can only be reimbursed the full amount of withdrawable funds.

Skupos will update the withdrawable amount of discounts for any given month within 10 business days of the beginning of the following month.


How Will I Receive Signage For the Promotion?

Once you have opted into a promotion, signage will be sent to your store in advance of the promotion start date. Depending on the brand that is running the promotion, you may receive signage in one of the following ways:

  • Signage may be shipped to your store location for you to display

  • A brand rep may come to your store to give you the signage or put it up themselves


What should I do with my signage when a promotion ends?

When a promotion ends, you must take down your signage so that your customers are not misled to expect a discount that is no longer available. If there are specific instructions that the brand provided with regards to signage, please follow those instructions; if not, feel free to dispose or recycle.
