Understanding Loyalty Fund Allowance vs. Self-Service Enrollment for Altria Loyalty Offers

Learn how automated and self-service enrollment work, who is eligible, and what to expect for timing.

Updated yesterday

Two Ways to Enroll in Altria LFA Offers:

Automated Enrollment (Recommended)

Self-Service Enrollment

  • Enrollment happens automatically at the start of every Altria sales cycle. No action needed from you month over month.

Perks:

  • No delays — discounts fire from day one of each cycle

  • Rates and elections pulled directly from Altria’s system

  • No monthly maintenance required

  • Available to stores that were not automatically enrolled — for example, net-new sites or stores missing an election for a specific operating company.

  • Not available on the retailer dashboard until roughly ~24 hours after the monthly LFA task

Use when:

  • You’re a new Skupos site and don't want to wait until the next sales cycle to offer discounts

  • You’re missing an enrollment for a specific operating company

💡 Tip: Automated enrollment is the most reliable way to ensure your discounts fire on time every month with no gaps.

  • Self-service is meant to be a temporary solution — if you find yourself using it monthly, the fix is to consent to the LFA in Altria’s portal (with PDI Technologies as your third-party provider) and confirm your elections with your Altria rep.

Eligibility Requirements:

To participate in any Altria Loyalty and Scan Data program through Skupos, all of the following must be true for your store:

  • Active 2026 DTP Tier 2 or higher contract with Altria

  • Active contract with the Altria Operating Company for the specific offer (e.g., Marlboro/PMUSA, USSTC, JMC, on! Classic, on! Plus, NJOY)

  • Active Loyalty Election for the offer, set up by your Altria field rep

  • LFA consent given to PDI Technologies through Altria’s portal

If your store does not meet all of these requirements, it will not be eligible for Altria loyalty discounts through Skupos. Contact your Altria Sales Representative to verify your elections and contract status.

💡 Tip: You can verify your loyalty elections by logging in to AGDCNow and clicking “View Price Promotions” on the right side of the screen. Download the report and go to the Store Details tab to see which Loyalty programs you are elected into and at what rate.

Timing Overview:

Each Altria sales cycle begins on a Sunday and ends on a Saturday on a monthly basis. Enrollment into the new offers for each cycle and offer visibility align with these dates, with visibility operating on a slight delay (~24 hours).

When will I see offers in my dashboard?

  • New offers appear in your Skupos Engage dashboard approximately ~24 hours after the new sales cycle begins (at 1 am EST on the first day of the cycle).

  • Self-service enrollment also opens at this time.

If I need to manually enroll myself in an Altria offer, when does a self-service enrollment go active at my site?

  • Self-service enrollments activate daily at 7 pm EST (12 am UTC). Enroll before 7 pm EST and your offer can be active the same day.

Note: If your store is newly live with Altria or new to Engage, allow an additional ~24 hours for your site to sync into the loyalty system before your offer moves to Active status.
