Skupos uses a secure remote support service called “BeyondTrust” to remotely view and control your computer.
The BeyondTrust application automatically uninstalls, which removes our ability to further access your computer unless a new support session is started.
How to Get Connected
Enter the Session Key
Enter the session key provided by your support representative.
Press the "Submit" button. The submit button will turn green when a valid session key is used.
2. Download the BeyondTrust Application
Follow the steps below depending on which browser you are using:
Chrome and MS Edge
After you enter the session key, the remote support application should download automatically. If it does not, click the link to download the app manually. Once the application is downloaded, click on the downloaded file in either the bottom left corner or the top right corner to open the application.
Firefox
After you enter the session key, the remote support application should download automatically. If it does not, click the link to download the app manually. Click “Save File” when prompted.
In the top right corner of the browser window click the small arrow, then click on the download to open the application.
MS Internet Explorer
After you enter the session key, the remote support application should download automatically. If it does not, click the link to download the app manually. Click “Run” at the bottom of the browser window when prompted to open the application.
3. Authorize the Application
Once the application has been opened, you’ll need to authorize the application to make changes to the computer. Click “Yes” when prompted.
4. Allow Remote Access
Click “Allow” when the application requests to control the computer. The Skupos technician will now be able to control your computer remotely.
When the session has finished, the BeyondTrust application will automatically uninstall from your computer.
