Step By Step Process
1. Verify with your Altria representative that your store qualifies for this discount.
2. Access Petroleum C-Store Configuration:
Open a web browser on your computer.
Enter your Verifone system's IP address followed by
/ConfigClient.html.Login using your register credentials.
3. Navigate to Promotions:
In the toolbar, click "Promos and Discounts", then select "NAXML Deal".
4. Create an Item List:
Go to the "Item List Maintenance" tab.
Click "Add" to create a new item list.
In the "Description" field, enter a name for the list, such as "On! Roll Allowance."
Assign an unused number in the "Item List ID" field.
Add the eligible item's UPC by entering the short UPC code and pressing "Tab" to verify it.
If a folder icon appears, the UPC is recognized. If a black X appears, recheck the UPC.
After adding all eligible roll UPCs, click "Save."
5. Set Up the Mix & Match Discount:
Switch to the "Mix and Match Maintenance" tab.
Click "Add" to create a new discount.
Select the item list you created from the dropdown.
Enter a description, such as "On! Roll Allowance."
Set the end date for the promotion and ensure all days of the week are selected.
Under "Package Pricing Configuration," click "Add New."
For "Pricing Type," choose "Amount Off Package Price."
Set the "Quantity" to 1 and the "Amount Off" to the total allowance amount determined by your Altria representative.
Click "Save" to apply the discount settings.
6. Apply and Test the Promotion:
In the top right corner, save your changes.
Go to "Tools" and select "Refresh Configuration."
Log out and back into the register(s) on-site.
Conduct a test transaction to ensure the discount applies correctly.
If things are working well, congrats! You are ready to start offering the discount!
